Keitä me olemme?
Olemme nelihenkinen perhe Pohjois-Pohjanmaalta, joka on perheen isän pikkupoikana aloittaman harrastuksen myötä päässyt kosketuksiin tähtitieteen kanssa.
Miksi tällainen sivusto?
Huomasimme, että suomenkielisiä, tavallisten ihmisten kielellä kirjoitettuja avaruusaiheisia sivustoja ei ole liikaa, joten teimme oman. Yritämme kertoa uutisten ja oman blogimme kautta tähtitieteen kuumimpia uutuuksia, viihdejuttuja, ja omia havaintojamme mahdollisimman ymmärrettävästi. Toivomme, että tällä saamme lisää innostuneita tähtiharrastuksen pariin.
Haluatko harrastaa tähtitiedettä?
Helpoiten pääsee mukaan liittymällä joko Ursan tai paikallisen yhdistyksen jäseneksi.

Who are we?
We are a family of four from Northern Ostrobothnia who have come into contact with astronomy through a hobby started by the father of the family when he was a little boy.
Why this kind of website?
We noticed that there aren’t many Finnish-language space-related websites written in a language accessible to ordinary people, so we decided to create our own. We aim to share the hottest news in astronomy, entertainment topics, and our own observations as clearly as possible through news articles and our blog. We hope to inspire more people to get excited about astronomy.

The easiest way to start is by joining your local astronomy club.
